Rules of Conduct for the forum and the Gear Town IRC:

-Respect your fellow members
-No |_33T speak please
-No flame wars
-No trolling
-If you're gonna argue on a personal level please take it to the pm's. We don't care and we don't wanna see it.
-In regards to Art and Images, No pornography, but tasteful nudity is accepted. Just please post NSFW pictures in a link. Idiotic NSFW stuff (porn in any form, real photos of gore, etc) will be immediately banned from the forum or the chat.

MAJOR DISCLAIMER

For the most part, we don't moderate for content here, so the images and posts will probably contain foul language, nudity, references to drugs/alcohol, and other naughty things. You've been warned.

-This is an image heavy site, so 56'kers beware.
-image size:maximum size is 900 pixels. If its bigger than that please link or thumb nail it.
-avatar size:150x150 maximum ( I will enforce this rule. If I told you to re-size it and you don't do it immediately, I will delete your avatar.)

RP Rules and FAQ

The Gear Town Rp welcomes both writers and artists to participate! Members can reply to one another with written replies or illustrations.
If you want to create a character, check out citizen junction!

Please follow these rules:
- Please stay in character
- Respect other characters
- Please spell well enough to read
- Keep RP things inside the thread
- Keep things tasteful
- No trolling, flaming or etc
- No LOLspeak
- No two sentence posts
- No metagaming.

Players are allowed to create their own threads in the RP section.
When you create a Gear Town RP Thread, please give your thread a title, label it as Public or Private, and please include the location number and sector name.
ie: -Public- The great escape (Sector:4 Ghetto)

What does OOC mean?
OOC means Out of Character chat. This usually means that you are chatting regularly and not In-Character.

What does IC mean?
IC means In-character chat. This is when you're role playing as your character in the RP.

What’s the difference between Public and Private Threads?
-Public Threads allows any member to jump in and join the role play.

-Private threads are exclusive to the members who are listed in it.

• When you create a private thread, please list the names of the members that will be participating in the RP in the first post.
  

What are the differences between and a Zone and a Sector?
-A Zone would be the colored area of the map which consists of 5 Sectors.
-A Sector is a particular area in the Zone.

What if we're done with the RP?
Poke a mod or the admin to have it locked and moved to the archives.
